We aimed to explore the effectiveness of nattokinase, an enzyme with potent fibrinolytic properties, in treating heart attacks. Through our research, we focused on enhancing the production of nattokinase from a newly identified strain of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, referred to as CMSS, which we isolated from cow milk.

Our comprehensive study involved optimizing different growth conditions such as pH, temperature, and nutrient sources, alongside improving the strain through UV-mutagenesis. We were excited to find that these optimizations led to a significant increase in nattokinase production.

The standout results showed that our modified strain produced nattokinase with a maximum activity of 4263 U mL(-1), which is double that of the original strain. In practical terms, this nattokinase achieved an impressive 94% blood clot lysis within ten minutes, hinting at its potential as a rapid acting treatment for heart-related issues.

Overall, our findings suggest that nattokinase from Pseudomonas aeruginosa CMSS could be a promising candidate for thrombolytic therapy, notably for those at risk of acute myocardial infarction. This unique study represents the first report of nattokinase production from this microorganism, opening the door to further research.

Nattokinase nanozyme aids heart recovery
We designed a study to explore the effectiveness of nattokinase in treating acute myocardial infarction, a condition often caused by blood clots. Thrombus formation leads to reduced blood flow, and finding effective treatments is critical for improving outcomes in heart attack patients.

Nattokinase is a naturally occurring enzyme known for its ability to dissolve blood clots, but its clinical use has been limited due to stability issues. To overcome this, we developed a manganese oxide nanozyme loaded with nattokinase, called MnOx@NK. This innovative approach not only delivers the clot-busting properties of nattokinase but also provides antioxidant benefits.

In our experiments using a mouse model of heart attack, we administered MnOx@NK through tail vein injections. The results were promising: we observed significant improvements in vascular function and a notable reduction in myocardial injury. The nanozyme effectively protected against oxidative stress, which can worsen the damage caused by heart attacks.

Overall, our findings suggest that using nattokinase-loaded nanozymes may pave the way for new treatments for acute myocardial infarction, potentially offering a safer and more effective option for patients facing this severe condition.

Why wouldn't you try this wonder enzyme? I use this product for back pain in the lumbar spine and for headaches, as well as other aches or pains. I rate it a solid 5 stars as it surpasses opioids, muscle relaxers, and acetaminophen any day! There are no liver toxicity issues, side effects, or discomforts. Additionally, the product provides the added benefits of preventing CVAs/strokes and MIs/heart attacks!

I was experiencing pain in my left leg due to a previous heart attack and suspected DVT. After taking this product for several weeks now, I've observed considerable improvement; my leg pain has reduced, and I feel more energetic. It’s slow but encouraging progress, and I now feel calmer, with a drop in my blood pressure readings.
